Lorraine Peterson was born in New Jersey and lived
most of her life there. She first became
interested in Spirituality when she went for a
reading at the Institute for Spiritual Development
in Sparta, N.J. She was impressed with a sign
hanging there that read "Only words of love shall be
spoken here." She has never forgotten those
words and started attending services there.
After moving to Maryland, she attended services and
classes at Arlington Metaphysical Chapel, in
Arlington, VA where Rev. Reed Brown and ,later Rev.
James DeBiasio officiated. She was certified
there as a Healer in October 1986. Then Rev. DeBiasio opened an affiliated church of ISD in
Washington, D.C. and and being closer for her there
she had her papers transferred and served there
approximately 15 years. After moving to
Florida, her friend the Rev. James DeBiasio told her
to go to Cassadaga. Having visited there many
times, she knew that was where Spirit wanted her to
continue her work in Service to God.
